Feel Like a Failure At Work? 10 Tips for a New Outcome Work is hard. Life is tough. Bosses are demanding more and more of its employees and if you do not have what it takes you just might feel as though you are a failure. Now, you have to compete with yourself, your co-workers and anyone else who wants to outshine you.

If your company is losing money or behind in its annual revenue goals, you may feel the pressure. You may think that time is not on your side and maybe you should just give up and wait out your retirement years, or maybe you should just do enough to get by and try to last through the remaining years.

If you are feeling down and highly depressed, you need a new direction. Try these tips to make failure feelings all go away today. Let's not wait for another day to become all that you can be.

Tip one. If you have not gotten a good massage, do so. Sign up for a good pedicure and manicure. Have your hair cut and trimmed. Get a good grooming make over. Make sure to pick out your favorite suit, tie, dress and shoes. Have those items ready. Now, if you feel much better buying something, that is okay too.

Tip two. Enroll in a study skills class. Make sure it offers accelerated learning practices. It should include steps to improve your basic skills and your ability to listen and problem solve.

Tip three. Purchase subliminal recordings. There are many and cover a wide range of topics. The right ones may prove to be an overnight success for you.

Tip four. When at home look in the newspapers or go online for jobs in your field. Study them and may strict attention to the requirements, benefits and additional opportunities. Do not become lazy with this. See how far you can go with your known career. Make a list of the companies that would hire you if you applied.

Tip five. Make a list of your goals. Be prepared to look at them on New Year's Day. Check off all the ones you have accomplished.

Tip six. Write and mail a letter to yourself. Inform yourself of how you feel at this very moment, and most importantly note how you are going to change and become much, much better.

Tip seven. Take a sheet of paper and draw a line down the center of the page. On one side write happiness and on the other write sadness. On the happiness side list all the things that make you happy. Include places you would like to visit, relationships you would like to start, your favorite animals, books, recordings,people, paintings and anything else that stirs you. On the other side write down all the things that make you sad and unhappy. Make sure you list the worst. Once you are completely finished cut the list in half. Burn the list that was about sadness, and gently tuck the other list inside your pocket or purse to carry around with you.

Tip eight. Only seek out a counselor if you think that is necessary.

Tip nine. This is a visualization exercise where you see yourself in a better place, better surroundings, and with better friends. Create a new world that shows you as the most important person. In fact, people applaud when you enter a room. This is a world that you are highly respected and thought of proudly. Everyone knows your name and looks up to you. Your picture is up on billboards and on posters everywhere.

Tip ten. After spending time in your new world try to sit quietly and say into a tape or recording device all that you have experienced. Later you can write it all down if you so wish.
