The process for applying for registration with the Care Quality Commission has been notoriously complicated, involving a lot of paperwork and navigation through some difficult systems. However, things are changing! The Care Quality Commission (CQC) have been undertaking an internal review of their administration and registration systems and have recently put into place a number of changes that should simplify the application process and minimise the paperwork requirements by service providers and registered managers.

The lure of having multiple brands and companies can be strong and especially play to the entrepreneurs ego. However, as with everything else that determines your business success you should look to the real numbers before you go spinning off another half dozen ventures and identities.

A felony conviction is usually seen from an employer's standpoint a huge deterrent. It often causes other less qualified individuals get hired over you because of your conviction. It can even reduce the amount you'll be paid because the employer knows that you'll have trouble finding a job no matter where you go, causing you to get hired at a "discount." Below is a list of jobs that statistically aren't affected by having a criminal record. This list includes both white collar jobs such as an office clerk, medical assistant, and sales person as well as blue collar jobs such as a mechanic, plumber, and construction worker.

For crimes both violent and non violent, the penalty your ordered to suffer by the court for your crime is often not as severe as the life long effects of having a felony conviction on your record. Depending on whether your felony was violent or non violent, there are a limited amount of jobs that will hire convicted felons, that is of course if they are made aware of your record. In this article I'm going to discuss the ethical and legal aspects of lying on your job application.

Is lying about your criminal record legal?

The answer to this question can change based on the laws of your state but almost always the answer to this question is yes, it's perfectly legal. There are some rare exceptions to this however:

Misconception #1 - Managers are fully responsible
The first misconception is "managers are fully responsible for engagement" of employees. This is a contradiction because employee engagement is, by definition, an emotional response to the environment such that employees willingly exert greater discretionary effort into their work. Managers cannot create an internal emotional response. Managers can only create a better environment. The environment must offer a higher probability of the engagement experience. The major responsibility for employee engagement must therefore be placed with the employee him/herself. The employee must take advantage of the environment and all the elements that create engagement. Employee engagement is a joint responsibility.

Experienced marketers assert that brand management is one of the ways to increase sales because powerful brand recall helps customers insist upon a particular product or service in place of any other one. Strong brands are a great asset to a company because they help to increase demand. Marketers will also be able to reduce the cost of doing business if they own very powerful brands. The rules of online brand management have to be followed by marketers in order to increase sales and build their business.

As a person who owns an online business, you should be able to attract and retain the attention of your potential customers. This requires certain specific resources and you should be able to use them correctly in order to make the best use of your budget. This is not a one-time expense and effective brand management requires constant efforts because your competitors will also be trying to make inroads into your customer base.
